House near Jalud set on fire after settlers who took it over clash with soldiers
Jalud's mayor says the house belongs to an East Jerusalem resident. Overnight, settlers also reportedly smashed several Palestinian cars in Sinjil.
Settlers who had taken over a Palestinian-owned house near Jalud clashed with Israeli soldiers on Saturday, and the house was set on fire; the army said it was dealing with violent rioters at an illegal outpost.
The IDF said the house sat within an illegal outpost in a closed military zone and described those involved as violent rioters, The Times of Israel reported.
