Gaza Kerem Shalom crossing
UN aid trucks rise at Kerem Shalom while commercial deliveries fall by a quarter
Kerem Shalom is the only cargo crossing into Gaza still operating. Aid groups warn their monthly food reach will drop below one million people from October.

OCHA said 702 UN and partner trucks were offloaded at Kerem Shalom in the week to 19 October, up 47%, while commercial truckloads fell 25% after a reported halt over a disputed fee.
Of 779 manifested UN and partner trucks, 702 were offloaded at Kerem Shalom between 13 and 19 October, a 47% increase on the week before, OCHA said in its 22 October report.
Commercial truckloads fell by a quarter to 315 between 12 and 18 October, following reports of a halt linked to a disputed fee.
Food security partners reached about 1.3 million people in September, compared with 2.1 million in January, and expect to reach fewer than one million a month from October.
About 60% of the $283 million the shelter cluster needs for the cold and rainy season is unfunded, and 11 water partners may have to stop trucking drinking water.
